ArtsConnect organizes chaperoned field trips for students to visit local-area museums, art galleries, artist studios, and other sites of interest.
ArtsConnect’s mission is to give the student the opportunity to experience various types of art in atypical ways (i.e. sleeping in a museum, creating art after a tour of the museum, thoughtful discussion, etc.) in order to enhance their opportunities to understand themselves and others.
ArtsConnect runs after-school and weekend programs for middle and high school students who live in the Rhinebeck Central School District and Red Hook School District. The ArtsConnect program began in 2010.
